ObLiViOn started as three friends poorly playing rock and metal songs at a sweet 16 party in the summer of 1988. Their style had more of a punk focus by the early 1990s. Their music borrowed equal parts from punk, metal, and classic rock. They played a 2 hour farewell show at Chicago's FIRESIDE BOWL in March 2000.
